Fees and Insurance
For many services, insurance benefits can be applied. Currently we accept most major insurances.
Our licensed clinicians providing COUNSELING services accept Amerigroup, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Coventry, Magellan, TriCare and Medicare.
PSYCHIATRIC services covered by Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Coventry, Magellan, TriCare, United, Value Options, Medicare, Medicaid & Medicaid CMOs- Amerigroup, Wellcare and Cenpatico are accepted by our medical doctor.
For out-of-network insurances, a superbill receipt can be provided for your personal reimbursement request.
For out-of-network and self-pay clients, therapy costs vary (depending on therapist training and license) $175 per session for licensed clinicians, $90 for therapists under supervision of a licensed clinician. Sliding scale services are offered for low-income families, please call 678-249-9311 for more information or to request an application.
PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS are $150 per unit (the amount of units will depend on your testing needs). The psychologist is happy to discuss the various types of evaluations and amount of testing required for your or your child’s needs. Some insurance plans are accepted by our psychologist for psychological evaluations including Aetna, Cigna, Tricare, Medicaid, and Amerigroup.
You are responsible for understanding your insurance and contacting your insurance carrier when requested. The collection of benefits or any other arrangement regarding third party payment is the responsibility of the client or legal guardian. You are responsible for notifying our office of any change in your insurance prior to your next scheduled appointment. Otherwise, you will be required to pay in full for your visit immediately upon discovery. All co-payments and or co-insurance are due upon check in at the time of your appointment.
Just A Journey Counseling accepts cash, check, debit, credit cards- Visa / Mastercard / American Express, and Health Savings Account with Visa/MC/AmEx logo. Any returned checks are subject to a $30 fee.

Your Appointment Time is Held Just For You!
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment we ask that you do so within 48 HOURS of your scheduled appointment time.
Appointments that are missed and not canceled or rescheduled within the 48 hour time frame
will result in the following actions:
1. No show warning
2. $50.00 late fee charged
3. $30.00 deposit will be required when scheduling any further appointments.
